A FAPESC avisa aos pesquisadores que tenham parceiros científicos na Rússia que este país lançou chamada pública para fomentar projetos conjuntos entre a Rússia e países do bloco BRICS, como o Brasil. Entre os temas que podem ser contemplados estão Energia, Transporte, Nanosistemas e o uso racional de recursos naturais. Call for proposals within the Russian Federal Target Programme «Research and development on priority directions of scientific-technological complex of Russia in 2014 – 2020 years»
In order to foster multilateral and bilateral S&T collaboration within BRICS the Russian Ministry of Education and Science has announced a call for proposals to implement S&T projects jointly with scientific organisations and universities from BRICS countries within the Russian Federal Target Programme «Research and development on priority directions of scientific-technological complex of Russia in 2014 – 2020 years». The Russian Ministry of Education and Science encourages a wider collaboration within BRICS and especially partnering with the leading Russian scientific organizations on both multilateral and bilateral level.

Project duration: 2 years (2015-2016)
Totally 336 mln rub (approximately 5,6mln $) are allocated from the federal budget, 16 mnl rub (approximately 0,26 mln $) per project. Not less than 21 projects will be selected.
Though, for this call only Russian organisations are eligible to apply and get funding, the involvement of partners fromother BRICS countries is mandatory. Such calls and wider involvement organisations from your country it might be a trigger to foster S&T collaboration within BRICS.
